Aside from latency, what is the big problem with controlling the constructs in the Gorefiend fight? I really don't understand the problem some of my buddies are having.

I don't really know what to write about the past couple days. Better than Friday, but they've still been coming on and off. Probably mostly because it's on my brain now, so I've been worrying about it. I read up on it, which helped, but, yeah.

I'm just trying to relax and keep my mind off it, mostly, so hopefully things will be better soon. ♥

This question isn't for veteran players of a class, but if you have a relatively new 70 of a class you've never played before do you catch yourself watching others and questioning their actions? This happens to me all the time on my shaman. I'm still learning the ropes with her, but I can't tell you how many other shamans I've seen do things that just cause me to raise an eyebrow and I wonder, who's in the wrong here? (My GM assures me it's them, but if that's the case there are a LOT of misinformed shamans out there. >_<)

One example is the last Shadow Labyrinth I did. It was myself on my currently elemental shaman, two hunters, a prot warrior and a resto shaman. I asked the shaman what totems she was going to drop and for her air one she said, "Probably WF." ... Two hunters? WF? Really? I was using Wrath of Air, so it's not as if we were going to get Grace from me.

Later, when I was doing dailies in Q'D I saw a shaman without any weapon buffs dropping WF totem. The thing is, she was soloing, there was no one with her. I can't imagine not wanting to use the WF buffs in conjunction with Grace instead, but maybe there's something I don't know.

This is aside from the fact that 99% of the shamans I group with in instances drop Healing Stream over Mana Spring, which drives me crazy. I've seen them do this in a party of all mana users (paladin tank) too.

Anyone else experience this? Is it a hybrid thing? A lot of times I see paladins and druids doing "o_O"-able things too.

So Kimbley and Roy have kind of gotten into a shoving contest over here, and it's gotten to a point where a nurse would probably notice, so if we could get some intervention that'd be great.

Do you find it annoying when someone asks to be able to roll on an item for a spec they're not currently on, if no one else can use the item?

Last night in Kara, a warlock bitched out a priest for wanting an item that dropped that gave +Shadow; the warlock already had better, and the priest wanted it for speccing to Shadow for PVP and other instances.

I've been on the receiving end of it, as well - good plate for me to go Retribution spec on my paladin instead of Holy, and people bitch because 'you shouldn't worry about your off-spec, and if you do you're not paying attention to your real spec' (and that was a nice comment; the whisper telling me 'ret pallies all suck, so kneel and do it' was relayed to the leader of the group for THAT instance and the offender kicked from instance and guild).

A few questions, as I'm now at the level I can start instancing.

1) I hotkey stuff. Because I'm questing right now, my hotkeys are all Shadow spells for killing. Should I hotkey my heal spells for instancing? If so, what's the best way to do that without messing up my main bar? I'm currently running Bongos 3. I'm thinking it might be feasible to put them on a second bar and just flip them (like I have for my hunter's melee skills, shift-2 replaces my main bar with the melee bar, shift-1 brings it back).

2) Is it feasible to be using various ranks of spells at this stage? If so, how can you organize them using the information from question #1?

3) I've read through the spell descriptions, but I'm not sure when I should be using which healing spell when. I have Renew (which I know I should toss out as the tank is going in for the pull), Flash Heal (which is the "oh shit") heal but should be used sparingly due to mana drain, Lesser Heal and Heal. The last two I'm not sure what to do with. Any suggestions?

4) Addons for healing. Open to suggestions. I've heard Grid or Healbot. What are the pros and cons of each?

I have returned from my adventures down on the lower mainland. Now, I need to ask a billion questions about the upcoming events, even though it seems everyone is slow while they do their applications.

Tad & Nurse-NPC - Cloud needs his medication by force again. However, he's painfully aware that him resisting in his room will probably get his roommate involved. I was wondering if it was at all possible that Cloud could insist he gets his 'meds' outside of dinner because he doesn't want Sano hurt or sedated because of his aversion to being drugged up. Since this is his third night, I'm sort of under the impression that the nurse(s) realize he's going to throw a crap-fit about being medicated so know to just go at him all roughlike. :D

Also, despite himself, Cloud hasn't go plans for nightshift that I can actually remember. I was sort of thinking of having him run around alone, but I could probably post to the entire institute in about four days. :/ Does anyone want a Cloud for nightshift even for a brief fight/conversation/love-session/cross-dressing party? Sold to the ninja with the short-shorts. :D

Fey Did we decide where Eileen and Hohenheim were meeting up for a honeymoon nightshift? They hadn't really had a conversation about where they were meeting (unless I missed or forgot it... which is a high probability).

Zalia- Winry can has quick backthread with Ed to wrap up?  She wants to make plans.

Also, Kagura-mun (I forget! D:) can has threading with Kagura this shift?  Win-Win is worried. :[

The vet thinks my cat has cancer.

Just getting a biopsy done - never mind treatment - would cost around $600.  And since she's old, if it's cancer and they remove it, there's a good chance it'll come back.

My mom is considering not doing anything about it, and I don't blame her.  I mean, the cat is 11 years old.  The most important part is that she's not in pain, so she's on some painkillers.

Harley's already on hiatus, but it looks like I'm going to have to keep her out until the start of next Dayshift. By the time I can come back, it'll be mid-Nightshift anyway, so I might as well just cut the whole thing out. Plus more time to work on the app, muahahaha.

Playing as my 37 paladin I just got ganked in Desolace. I was standing near the summer festival fire so I assume that's what they wanted, they being a skull-level BE hunter and mage. The hunter promptly spits on me before I release from my body. Not only does it waste my time from dying but I also have to run across the zone for my body.

I play on a pvp server but...what's the point? They don't gain any honor, and it's not like I could have stopped them. I'm leveling in the middle of a zone that shouldn't have any 70's in it....is it really worth the 11g that you get from dousing the flame? Whatever happened to common courtesy? Not wasting other people's time? It just doesn't make any sense.
